The Douglas brand

The company was founded in 1821 by John Sharp Douglas, and was originally a soap manufacturer. In 2014, Douglas acquired the NocibĂ© perfume chain. Tina Muller then took over as head of the group and launched the #FORWARDBEAUTY program, a global strategy for the future that places e-commerce at the heart of its challenges. The creation of the Digital First program made the brand the leading beauty products marketplace in Europe. DIGITAL FIRST was the decisive step in the brand’s transition from a retailer with an online store to a digital company with a brick and mortar business. Today, Douglas has over 100,000 beauty products in its online stores and more than 2,000 stores. It also had sales of 3.2 billion euros in 2020 in the areas of perfumes, cosmetics, skin and hair care, as well as food supplements and accessories.

The project, from inception to implementation, took less than three months. The Socloz technical team, led by Zineb, our Project Success Manager, really did a great job!
